Title : Drone. Complete : June 6 2002. Description : Sofisticated beats with lush pads, blissfull middle 8 and stinging TB-303 style riffs and filter sweeps. Story behind the track : This song was originaly one of those trance numbers with that hypnotic droning basses that was later re-written as a tech step tune but the name stuck.

 Title : Morph. Completed : April 25 2002. Description : Creamy dreamy atmospheric start with hard Tech Step beats in the Drop whurring snair patterns and analog bass loops. Story behind the track : This tune was the result of a radio journalism workshop at radio Radio Dreyeckland (http://www.rdl.de/) the subject being Metamorphosis, the analog base sound that you hear in the middle 8 is a version of the bass from Listening by Pseudo Echo. If a synth claims it can do analogue I try to program this sound into it.

Title : Tranquill (Peacefull and quiet) Completed : May 19 2002 Description : This is a peaceful and quite track (until the beats start) has some nice "vocal sample hook work" and a Spartan effective beat. Story behind the track: The tune is inspired by the samples and that killer 808-state atmospheric pad sound. Its a kind of counterpoint between hard beats and soft pads. I think I will rename it to peacfull and quite because tranquill is a bit of a wank! Lyrics : Peaceful and quiet, listen to this sound.

 Title : Dance Completed : April 11 2002. Description : This is a frantic techno dance tune with whirring filter sweeps and pounding kick drum programmes and hammering baselines. Story behind the track : The tracks title was inspired by one of Michael Angelo's Slave sculptures as the single cover demonstrates. If you look at him with your eyes half closed he appears to be dancing. The song its self was inspired by True Faith by "New Order" that begat the bass line and the rest was hard use of rave kick drums and creative knob twirling. March 26 2002 Soul Fusions "Keep it simple mix" of "dance (while Rome Burns)" has hit 17 in the German Acid charts and No 1 in Freiburg electronic. April 11 2002 "dance (while Rome Burns)" is creeping up the German acid charts is currently at number 8.
